IVM – Italy Válvulas e Metais emerged in the 90s, with the goal of raising the quality standard of valves and registers available in the country. Since its foundation, the company has focused on innovation and the development of high-performance solutions for the sanitation, gas, and industry sectors.
IVM built strategic partnerships with renowned international manufacturers, ensuring cutting-edge production processes and rigorous certifications. The company invested in forging as its main production technology, ensuring maximum strength and durability in its products.
The recognition of the quality of IVM's products enabled its approval by major companies in the sector, such as Sabesp and Comgás. The journey to reach these markets involved overcoming commercial barriers, adapting to strict technical requirements, and demonstrating differentiated production capacity. Approval with Sabesp was an important milestone, as it secured the company a place in a market previously dominated by traditional suppliers operating with lower quality standards.
In the gas sector, IVM consolidated its position by demonstrating its ability to provide continuous and reliable supply, an essential factor for companies like Comgás. With strategic inventory and a production structure prepared to meet urgent demands, the company won long-term contracts and established itself as one of the segment's main suppliers.

Forged
The metal is mechanically deformed through pressure or impact, without melting.
It produces an aligned metallurgical grain, increasing strength and durability.
Typical processes include hot forging, cold forging, or closed-die forging.
It eliminates structural weaknesses common in casting.
Strength and Durability
Cast: May present solidification defects, porosity, and low fatigue and impact resistance.
Forged: Very high mechanical and fatigue resistance, with practically zero risk of cracks or internal defects.
